Mt. Stuart is a road with only one entry and exit intersection. It is found off the highway heading west to charters towers. The turn off is only 15min from townsville.
The road has auto sport grade bitumen. It is used for hill climbs on various weekends across the year.
The road also has a mountain bike track, which follows the road from top to bottom on the southern side of the road.
To ride this hill you will need to know is how to stop, either by a pendy, or a hard foot brake. As there is no up hill run out like at other events.
